The latest trailer for Bryan Singer’s Jack the Giant Slayer has a tremendous amount of footage

This is another film I kind of forgot about since it was pushed back.

A new trailer for JACK THE GIANT SLAYER is here to remind us that it still exists. The first peek we got wasn’t too terribly impressive, or maybe it just caught me on a bad day. I enjoy Bryan Singer as a director, though I can’t say I was originally intrigued by this.

However, this trailer does do something for me, even if it manages to cram the entire movie into a little over two minutes. It has three things I like: Ewan McGregor, Ian McShane, and Bill Nighy. What’s not to like? It looks like it will be a fun ride. Check it out for yourself below.

“Jack the Giant Slayer” tells the story of an ancient war that is reignited when a young farmhand unwittingly opens a gateway between our world and a fearsome race of giants. Unleashed on the Earth for the first time in centuries, the giants strive to reclaim the land they once lost, forcing the young man, Jack (Nicholas Hoult) into the battle of his life to stop them. Fighting for a kingdom, its people, and the love of a brave princess, he comes face to face with the unstoppable warriors he thought only existed in legend–and gets the chance to become a legend himself.

JACK THE GIANT SLAYER stars Nicholas Hoult, Eleanor Tomlinson, Stanley Tucci, Ian McShane, Bill Nighy, Ewan McGregor and will release on March 1, 2013.
