Earlier this week we reported on not one but two casting updates to Marcus Nispel’s CONAN reboot, and here we are mid-week… and I have one more for your noggin to process.
According to Variety, the ever-so-lovely Rose McGowan has joined the cast to play a half human / half witch, who is (of course) very evil. And sexy. If she’s anything like the witch from the original Schwarzenegger CONAN, we’ll be in good shape. Especially if she gets naked…
Having McGowan join is almost a no brainer, as she was lined up to play Red Sonja a while back (what the hell ever happened to that??), so she obviously has the CONAN-style look going for her. Plus, she looks great wearing close to nothing.
McGowan joins Jason Momoa, Rachel Nichols, Stephen Lang, Bob Sapp, Leo Howard, Ron Perlman, and Said Taghmaoui in the film, which started shooting Monday in Sofia, Bulgaria. Will there be more casting updates to tell, or on with some behind the scenes reports? Either way, have fun with this pic of McGowan–she’s a keeper!
