The Marsh trailer

Just when you thought you didn’t have to live life in constant fear of creepy little ghost children, along comes another movie that makes you want to automatically dropkick every adorable kiddie you happen upon (its better to have a reason than no reason at all).

THE MARSH has returned that old familiar feeling to me, and you can get all riled up too by watching its trailer HERE. It seems that it’s got all the ingredients needed for a ghost story: Foreboding house with a mysterious past? Check. Shadowy somethings popping into frame suddenly? Check. A conveniently close-by paranormal consultant who has vague answers? Ch-friggin-eck (although when he’s played by Forest Whitaker, you give the movie a pass). And of course, a protagonist (Gabrielle Anwar) who refuses to just hightail it out of the joint when all kinds of scary shit starts to go down. The only thing this trailer is missing is a “Based upon true events” title card at the beginning.

THE MARSH makes its DVD premiere on April 17, and to read Arrow’s review, click it HERE.
