In general, I do not like found footage movies. As soon as I hear something is found footage, I'm put off from it and the project will have to work very hard to convince me that it's worth watching. Usually, they don't. For example, the trailer for this year's Ridley Scott-produced found footage film PHOENIX FORGOTTEN made it look like such a BLAIR WITCH PROJECT retread that I have no interest in ever seeing the movie – and judging by Mike Sprague's 4/10 review, I'm not missing much.
The latest found footage film to struggle to win me over is director Victor Mathieu's THE MONSTER PROJECT, the trailer for which can be seen below.
Written by Shariya Lynn, Corbin Billings, and Mathieu, THE MONSTER PROJECT has the following synopsis:
When aspiring horror filmmakers post an online casting call looking for “real life” monsters to interview for their upcoming documentary called, The Monster Project, they find three individuals claiming to be a skinwalker, a vampire, and a demon. Meeting these monsters at a remote mansion in the woods on the night of a total lunar eclipse, the filmmakers invite the three subjects to share their haunting, personal experiences.
Working on the crew is a recovering drug addict who suffers withdrawal and paranoia. As a person of faith, he fears his friends underestimate the dark powers they are summoning. When the interviews turn deadly, he must battle the demons, inside and out, to escape the house and defeat the rise of evil incarnate.

I'm still not sure about this one after watching the trailer, but the climax of the preview contains enough intensity, creature effects, and interesting shots (the fall from the window as a monster watches) that it almost does make me want to watch the movie.
