The day is finally here: the teaser trailer for THE MUMMY: TOMB OF THE DRAGON EMPEROR has been unleashed upon us! If you head THIS WAY you can check it out for yourself, and finally see what all the hype is about.
While there appears to be a lot of action, some cool effects sequences, and enough adventure to make any fan of the series jump for joy, I found myself thinking one thing throughout: where are all the mummies???? I think I saw one or two… maybe… but mostly I saw a statue come to life, a few armies fighting it out, an abominable snowman of some sort… but no real mummies. What the shit???
The teaser didn’t shake any of my doubts that this will end up just being OK, but it didn’t make me know for sure that it will probably suck balls either… so I guess we’re in the same spot as we were before, except now we have some action to go with all the still shots we’ve seen thus far.
