The next stop on board the TV revival train could be for Full House

Are TV revivals the new “shared universe” bandwagon that everyone has to jump on? Seriously, what is going on here? Twin Peaks, The X-Files, Coach, Heroes; all these shows will be returning to television. The latest series brought back to the land of the living could be none other than Full House. TVLine broke the news that Netflix is "thisclose" to ordering a thirteen episode continuation of Full House which would go by the exceedingly clever title of Fuller House.

Fuller House would star Candace Cameron Bure as D.J. and Andrea Barber as her BFF Kimmy with John Stamos, Bob Saget, and Dave Coulier being eyed to make guest appearances on the show. Full House creator Jeff Franklin is apparently at the head of this revival along with Thomas L. Miller and Robert L. Boyett, both of whom were executive-producers on the original sitcom. Full House ran from 1987-1995 on ABC but several members of the cast have since gotten together for various commercials and skits, most recently, this commercial for Dannon Oikos Greek Yogurt. Guys, I mentioned it, can I have my free yogurt now?

Variety also reported the news of this possible Full House resurrection but said that a Netflix rep claimed the report was "just a rumor" but wouldn't elaborate any further. Looks like we'll have to wait for Netflix's official word before we count this as a definite thing. Any Full House fans out there looking forward to this?
