I don’t know about all of you, but
this Christmas thing is once again becoming out of hand. People are freaking out
about gifts, everyone complains about money, and those carolers that I locked in
my cellar will not shut the f**k up!
Well fortunately for all of us a little group called Pioneer Theatre is
hosting a slew of Christmas slayers in New York city, and it may be the greatest
holiday idea since someone started putting booze in egg nog.
The Pioneer Theatre in association
with some help from James Felix McKenney will be showing the following titles:
(Dec.
22) a futuristic film about the merry Santa Claus who
destroys our world in the year 2019; the 1984 cult classic
(Dec. 22),
featuring satanic rituals, Nazi scientists, horny
teenagers, drowned cats (and One Very Bad Elf);
(Dec. 21 and
27);
(Dec. 23),
a holiday comedy about an unsuccessful actor who takes
the only part he can get – as Santa Claus handing out flyers in New York’s
Christmas frenzy;
(Dec. 23), a murderous tale about a misfit who saw his
parents slaughtered by a psychotic murderer in a Santa Claus suit, and then he
had to go into an orphanage run by a sadistic nun;
The ultra-offensive program of
(Dec. 24),
And to top everything off, on Boxing Day (Dec 26) they will be playing
CHRISTMAS EVIL (aka a
1980 horror film about an evil toymaker who snaps and goes on a killing spree
dressed as Santa.
So ignore those urges to play a
round of Win, Lose, or Draw with your drunken uncle who’s present to everyone is
not wearing pants, and his present to himself is that he’s also not wearing
underwear, and head down to the Pioneer Theatre in New York City for VICIOUS
CHRISTMAS. For more information about the film festival, click
