The Rock goes on another kid friendly journey in the trailer for Journey 2: The Mysterious Island

I’m not going to lie. I did not see JOURNEY TO THE CENTER OF THE EARTH with Brendan Fraser. If I want to see Fraser in anything, I’ll watch ENCINO MAN or that gif of him clapping.

Well, the sequel to that film has no Fraser. Instead this one stars Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson. I really dreaded having to watch this but still tried to keep an open mind. It’s got The Rock in it and Michael Caine. That alone is worth my time. Sadly that time was wasted. I’m not even sure that Luis Guzman can make this watch worthy.

Young adventurer Sean (Josh Hutcherson) receives a coded distress signal from a mysterious island where no island should exist–a place of strange life forms, mountains of gold, deadly volcanoes, and more than one astonishing secret.
