It’s been quite a while since we’ve heard anything regarding Laurent Briet’s THE STRANGERS 2, the follow up to Brian Bertino’s popular slasher THE STRANGERS. Actually it’s been nearly a year! So what’s the good word on this one today? Check it.
The guys over at Bloody-Disgusting are reporting that Briet and Relativity Media are nearly ready to get rolling with THE STRANGERS 2, with shooting set to begin as early as April! This is kind of up in the air though considering the film is yet to have a location or even a cast. All we know is that Liv Tyler (below) will be returning alongside Paul Hodge.
A reflection of the horrible economy, the sequel follows the three mysterious figures (Man in the Mask, Pin-Up Girl, and Dollface) as they now stalk a family of four that is forced to live in an abandoned trailer after being evicted from their home.
