Holy shit! Now, here is one interesting and original zombie movie! The name is BLED WHITE and here’s its killer concept: zombies vs. cannibal survivors! Don’t that beat all?! The living and the undead both going after flesh to feed on! Nice! As an added bonus, the trailer looks pretty bad ass too. Of course, I posted it for you guys below to see.
The full synopsis bleeds like this: The dead feast on human flesh and stop at nothing for it. The living, confined to the dark corners of the world, must do what it takes to survive. Dying is the only thing left to do at the end of the world. Now Ed, Matt, Joe, Natalie, Sam and Mary will try to survive. Who lives depends on who kills first.
I wonder if the cannibals are able to feed off zombie flesh? I doubt it because wouldn’t zombie flesh be considered “infected” and would thus turn them into zombies? So that means that the characters mentioned in the synopsis would have to kill their fellow “living”. Tough choice. I’d definitely be interested in seeing how this scenario plays out.
BLED WHITE was written and directed by Jose Carlos Gomez. It stars Robert A. Young, Bruce Spielbauer, Rosa Isela Frausto, Kelli Tidmore, Laura Locascio, Colleen Boag, Matthew E. Prochazka, Jason Hoskot, North Roberts, Geraldine Dulex , and Christian Rogala. It’s looking to release some time this year.
