The world’s greatest spy is back in the trailer for Johnny English Reborn

If “Eye of the Tiger” plays over a trailer, it should be good right? Eh…

I know a few of you said that you weren’t bothered by a sequel to 2003’s JOHNNY ENGLISH with Rowan Atkinson. I get it. Atkinson can still be slightly funny in his bumbling ways. Mr. Bean was pretty hilarious for awhile.

But is the trailer for JOHNNY ENGLISH REBORN funny? I smiled in a couple of spots but never really burst out laughing nor did I giggle. In the sequel, English “is charged with thwarting a sinister plot to assassinate a world leader and must rally his not considerable talents to uncover the perps behind the scheme.” The trailer might not be where all the laughs are, but it does have an interesting cast. Along with Atkinson, there’s Gillian Anderson, Pierce Brosnan, Dominic West, Rosamund Pike and Richard Schiff.
