Another year of cinema has come and gone, and what better way to commemorate it, than with a video montage. While watching this, I quickly became nostalgic for the year that was, and remembered all those quiet moments spent in the theatre, when the lights first dim and the crowd falls silent. I was reminded of the urgent anticipation I felt moments before films like THE DARK KNIGHT, and THE WRESTLER among others. This was indeed, a great year for movies–don’t let those clips of SEVEN POUNDS convince you otherwise.
