There Are No Saints: Neal McDonough gets violent in Exclusive clip from Paul Schrader-scripted thriller

As a writer and/or director, Paul Schrader has brought us a lot of thrills and dark stories over the years, including Taxi Driver, Rolling Thunder, Cat People, First Reformed, and The Card Counter. Now he has teamed up with director Alfonso Pineda Ulloa (Demon Inside) to craft the action thriller There Are No Saints, which will be receiving a theatrical, digital, and On Demand release courtesy of Paramount Pictures and Saban Films on May 27th. In anticipation of that release date, we’re proud to share an EXCLUSIVE clip from There Are No Saints that you can get to through the embed above. In this clip, characters played by José María Yazpik (Narcos: Mexico) and Neal McDonough (Yellowstone) have a tense standoff that quickly turns violent.

There Are No Saints has the following synopsis:

Looking to start a new life, a former hitman nicknamed The Jesuit (Jose Maria Yazpik) is unable to escape the sins of his past. With enemies on both sides of the law, he has nowhere to turn when his only son is kidnapped by a ruthless cartel boss (Ron Perlman). He’ll stop at nothing to save his boy in this gritty action-thriller from the writer of TAXI DRIVER.

Yazpik, McDonough, and Perlman (Hellboy) are joined in the cast by Shannyn Sossamon (The Rules of Attraction), Paz Vega (Rambo: Last Blood), Keidrich Sellati (The Americans), Tommy Flanagan (Sons of Anarchy), and Tim Roth (Reservoir Dogs).

There Are No Saints was produced by Santiago Garcia Galvan, Alex Garcia, and Jose Martinez Jr. Angeles Morales was associate producer, Viridiana Torres the coordinating producer, and Joceline Hernandez and Andrés Navia the line producers. Paul Schrader and Joceline Hernandez served as executive producers alongside Lucas Akoskin, Rodolfo Marquez, John Morrissey, Gustavo Angel Olaya, Daniel Posada, Eugenio Villamar, Ellen S. Wander, and Katrina Wolfe.
