These new images from The Hangover Part III look like they could be from Part I or Part II

For the strangest reason, I feel like when I was a kid we would get teasers for movies almost a year before they were released. Now, a movie may be opening in a few months and we don’t see a single clip of footage. Such is the case with THE HANGOVER PART III.

To date, we have a couple of images, some set photos, and the production logo for the movie. But, with the movie coming out in exactly 3 months, we have no official poster or even a teaser for the final film in the trilogy. Today, IndieWire has posted a pair of new images and they are correct in saying these look like they could be stock shots from either of the previous movies. The only tell-tale sign this is different is that Ed Helms face tattoo is gone.

I would put a plot summary for the movie here, but alas we don’t even have that. All we know is that director Todd Phillips promises this final adventure will take the wolfpack in a totally different direction than the original movie or it’s carbon copy of a sequel.

Original crew Bradley Cooper, Zach Galifianakis, and Ed Helms will be once again joined by Jamie Chung, Heather Graham, Mike Tyson, Jeffrey Tambor, Ken Jeong, and Justin Bartha. This time they will be joined by the great John Goodman in what I hope is a fitting finale to the series.

THE HANGOVER PART III opens on May 24th, 2013.
