This concept art from Gareth Edwards’ Godzilla teases the creatures size

There are big plans looming for Gareth Edwards‘ GODZILLA. The whole thing has been a major tease up to this point, which it should be. The audience should see absolutely nothing from the creature until the day that they go see it in the theater. You want him to be scary, otherwise what’s the point? Sure, ginormous creatures are bad ass anyway but intimidating to boot? That’s what you want.

They’ve done a good job of hiding things from us. Even this new piece of concept art gives us little. What we do get is an idea of how huge Godzilla is going to be. He’s only hunched over in the water, wait til the big guy is standing. Sheesh.

Word has it that the “Godzilla Encounter” will possibly give visitors a chance to experience the monster. But I can’t be entirely certain, but I’m thinking it’s an interactive event of some kind which is pretty awesome. Unfortunately the tickets are already sold out so maybe you already got one.

Here’s hoping we get a trailer, or at least a teaser for the film. GODZILLA with Aaron Taylor-Johnson, Elizabeth Olsen, Bryan Cranston and Ken Watanabe will be in theaters on May 16th, 2014.
