Last month I tossed a few new stills your way from the highly anticipated J.J. Abrams flick SUPER 8 and now here I sit with even more SUPER 8 goods for you guys! It’s alright, you don’t have to thank me, it’s my job.
Now that my moment of trying to be somewhat funny is over, let me tell you all what I’ve got for you today! Coming our way from not one, not two but three sources we’ve got three brand new TV spots from SUPER 8 for you guys to check out. Now the spots, coming from Yahoo!, Movies.com and FearNET respectively, offer up a whole lot of action but the kicker here is that the first two spots are titled ‘It Arrives’ and ‘It Escapes.’ Intrigued? In the summer of 1979, where a group of friends in a small Ohio town witness catastrophic train crash while making a super 8 movie and soon suspect that it was not an accident. Shortly after, unusual disappearances and inexplicable events begin to take place in town, and the local Deputy tries to uncover the truth – something more terrifying than any of them could have imagined.
Just the names of these spots catches your interest, don’t they? I mean classifying this creature from the film as ‘It’ then teasing us with ‘It’ arriving and escaping… How can you not be stoked for this flick? Hell it’s J.J. Abrams and Steven Spielberg! If you’re not excited for SUPER 8 I’d say there’s something wrong with you. Personally there’s only a handful of flicks I’m looking forward to this Summer, if that, and SUPER 8 is definitely one of them! I’m sure most of you are right there with me.
While SUPER 8 sports a relatively unknown cast it does star Elle Fanning, Amanda Michalka, Kyle Chandler, Ron Eldard, Noah Emmerich, Marco Sanchez, Ryan Lee, Katie Lowes (below) and Gabriel Basso. This little diddy smashes it’s way into theaters on June 10th but I bet we’ll be getting a lot more SUPER 8 goods before that so be sure to check back soon for those!
