You may have noticed that I’ve recently been reporting a bit more on genre figures and collectibles. Well today’s no different! Today we’ve got a few new collectibles for you all to check out. Ranging from Michael Jackson to Freddy Krueger! Have I got your attention? Good.
First up are a coulple 7” figures coming from Yamato depicting the King of Pop straight from his legendary music video THRILLER. Yes, I’m talking about Michael Jackson. Don’t believe me? Just scope out the pictures!
This vinyl figure stands at 7 inches and includes a display base. Here’s the description Yamato gives: Think what you will of the eccentric “King of Pop,” but there’s no denying that his smash hit album “Thriller” and the unforgettable video for the title track have left an indelible mark on American pop culture. Fully assemsbled and painted, this 7.00″ fixed posed, vinyla caricature figure presents the pre- and post-zombified Michael from the “Thriller” video. A must for any Jacko fan!
While I’m not enough of a ‘Jacko’ fan to pay $60 for him in his little red suit, maybe you are! BUY REGULAR MICHAEL HERE! or BUY ZOMBIE MICHAEL HERE! You may notice from the pictures above that there are also limited editions of each figure. The human version has a pair of cat eyes going on while the zombie version has a glow-in-the-dark feature. These may be a bit more tricky to come by.
All ‘Jacko-d’ out? Good. Me too. Now let’s move onto some pretty awesome busts. First up we have a bust of one of those nifty Crawlers from Neil Marshall’s THE DESCENT. While I’m not sure those cheeky bastards are worthy of having their own figures, you’ve got to admit that looks pretty cool!
This little bugger stands at 6.5 inches and is a Limited Edition. I’m a sucker for Limited Edition! There was only 1,000 of The Crawler made and each one has a hand-numbered certificate of authenticity. While most sites may have him listed around $50, Amazon can get you this bad boy for $23! Hurry though, there’s only a few available! You can go ahead and BUY THE CRAWLER HERE! Here’s a bit of a description of the bust for you:

He stands 6 1/2-inches tall and comes with a hand-numbered certificate of authenticity. Order at your own risk! Limited edition of 1,000 pieces! The crawlers are cavemen that never left the cave. They’ve evolved over thousands of years to become expert climbers who’ve lost their eyesight, have acute hearing and smell, and function perfectly in the pitch black. When a group of female friends gets trapped in a mountain cave due to a rock fall and infringe upon their world, the crawlers are simply defending their territory.

That first bust below is awesome. I’m talking beyond awesome actually. You’ve got to love the subtly of it! That particular bust stands 7 inches and ranges around $135, but dare I say it’s worth it?! It’s listed as Coming Soon so I’ll be on the lookout for a release date. House of Mysterious Secrets offers this description for the bust: This Freddy Krueger statue captures the realism of this infamous character from the details of his gloved clawed hand down to his weathered boots.
Which brings us to the second bust shown below. That one is described: This highly detailed mini bust showcases Freddy larger-than-life, breaking through the roof of a run-down, boarded-up house! Some of the realistic features include the gloved hand and gruesome facial skin texture beneath Freddy’s lowered hat! This one is also listed as Coming Soon, and although not as cool as the other one it’s still pretty awesome.
Taking a drastic drop from the $135 price tag of the other Freddy bust, this one is pegged at a meesly $50. It stands 7.75 inches tall and is designed in 1:6 scale. I’m sure you’re digging these Freddy busts as much as I am so keep it here for any updates and/or release dates.
