Timo’s Game Over

The great gore-loving German director, Timo Rose (BARRICADE, THE FEARMAKERS) has just “opened up the corpse” regarding his latest effort titled GAME OVER (and no, it has nothing to do with SAW). But it has a lot to do with horror scream queen Debbie Rochon, who happens to be the star of Timo’s latest. Here’s how the writer/director happily describes his new flick: “a damn bloody and realistic movie about kidnapped girls, a sick man and ‘friendship.’” Alrighty then! That’s a pretty good start, but how about a little more meat. Well, it looks like Mr. Rose happily complied. Feast your eyes below on the rest of his description:

“The story is about Tina [to be played by Rochon], a young actress who left the States for Germany—she fell in love, so she left for a man. Two good friends of hers come over to visit Tina for her birthday—but the next 24 hours will be very brutal, as the three are kidnapped by a sadistic maniac. He plays brutal and primitive games with them, and every attempt they make to escape leads them deeper into hell! This will be the nastiest movie I’ve ever done; we’re creating special effects scenes that will be bloody as hell.”

That sure sounds like our Timo! It does seem similar to the HOSTEL and SAW movies, but with Rose’s eye for great gobs of gruesomeness, I’m betting GAME OVER will have a fresh feel to it. No other people have been cast other than Rochon (below), who called GAME “one of the most violent scripts I have ever read!” Shooting is set to start this April, so I’ll keep you guys in the game regarding any new info.
