Good news for all you MySpace geeks
out there.
PAN’S LABYRINTH, the film that makes me want to
create rich, creamery butter in my underwear, has now gone live on MySpace.
If you click
here, you can check out the very cool MySpace
page for Del Toro’s newest film and you can also visit
here for some
PAN downloads.
If you haven’t heard about this film yet, than school yourself right now. The
official synopsis reads:
Set
in 1940s Spain against the postwar repression of Franco’s Spain, a fairy tale
that centers on Ofelia, a lonely and dreamy child living with her mother and
adoptive father, who is a military officer tasked with ‘ridding the area’ of
rebels. In her loneliness, Ofelia creates a world filled with fantastical
creatures and secret destinies. With Fascism at its height, Ofelia must come to
terms with her world through a fable of her own creation.
The unofficial Scott’s-Drunk-Before-Dinner synopsis reads as follows:
This movie is awesomeness and makes me cry because I’m not
the Spanish Civil War and don’t have magical labyrinth powers or eye-ball hands!
Yah personally I think they did a better job with it.
So check out the links above, and
make sure to check out
PAN’S LABYRINTH
