Tom Cruise tries to reclaim his home in the second trailer for Oblivion

April is quickly approaching, and with it comes the release of Joseph Kosinski‘s OBLIVION.

Am I excited for this? Of course, especially when the studio throws a new trailer for us. Now there is some footage that you’ve already seen here, but there are also some new goodies. I think this trailer displays both the amount of action the film will have along with presenting the plot without being too generous. It’s a good one, and if they didn’t send over any clips I’d be perfectly fine going into the movie with what I’ve already previewed.

Also, not to musically geek out, but I seriously thought that around the 1:20 mark on the trailer that “Everyday is Exactly the Same” from Nine Inch Nails was about to drop in and destroy the shit out of this trailer. Unfortunately, that didn’t happen so I just pulled up the track, turned down the volume on the trailer, and played the NIN song. It was pretty f*ckin’ good. I’m not saying they have to put it in, however, it wouldn’t hurt.

Check out the latest trailer below.
