With the upcoming release of ZOMBIELAND, we could very well have a return of true SHAUN OF THE DEAD style side-splitting horror-comedy. I mean, when you’ve got the Wood man (Harrelson) locked up with Dr. Venkman (Murray), how the hell could you go wrong?
Set for an October 2nd orbit, Ruben Fleishcher’s ZOMBIELAND pits an odd-couple (Woody’s alpha-male to Eisenberg’s beta-male) up against a grue-soaked zombie incursion.
The two meet up with a pair of equally ass-whooping females, one a kid (Abigail Breslin), the other quite the siren (Emma Stone) Together, the fierce foursome looks to pack as many zombies back underground as they can, thus restoring order to the world.
