Toy Story 5 shows that the franchise has staying power as the new entry becomes the third movie in the series to cross a billion dollars at the box office and also the sixth Pixar film to achieve that milestone. Woody and Buzz reunite for a new adventure with Jesse as their kid, Bonnie, gets caught up in a new era of touch screens. The Disney film has enjoyed its summer run and will become available to rent or own in just a few days.
Toy Story 5 is set to be available on-demand on digital platforms starting August 18. Disney has announced that also arriving on September 22 is a limited-edition 4K SteelBook and Blu-ray featuring the classic characters Woody, Buzz Lightyear, Jessie and Bullseye alongside the new tech characters, including Lilypad and Smarty Pants.
You can also watch the past and present with a digital 2-movie special edition pack with the original Toy Story and Toy Story 5 in 4K UHD. However, you’ll also be able to watch the entire journey with a Toy Story 5-movie collection digital and physical bundle.
