Toy Story writers Alec Sokolow and Joel Cohen to pen a Farmville movie? (Yes, THAT Farmville)

JoBloJoBlo

I honestly have no clue if Farmville is still popular anymore, but it sure as shit was ridiculously big a couple of years ago. And like with all popular to semi-popular things that exist, it may somehow get adapted into a movie.

In speaking with IGN, TOY STORY writers Alec Sokolow and Joel Cohen revealed that they are in talks to write a movie version of Farmville.

“We will continue writing movies. We are also working on several new and very exciting opportunities. We’re in conversations with Zynga to do something with one of their brands. Can’t really say too much on that front yet, but ‘Old MacDonald’ didn’t have a factory, if you get our drift.”

And before you say, “Well, it’s got some of the talent behind TOY STORY, so it might be good,” I’m going to point out that Sokolow and Cohen were also among the masterminds behind stuff like CHEAPER BY THE DOZEN, GARFIELD, GARFIELD: A TAIL OF TWO KITTIES, and DADDY DAY CAMP.

Man, f********ck this!
