The two new cast members join an already pretty heavy line up that includes Channing Tatum, Al Pacino, Ray Liotta, and Katie Holmes. The film, according to THR, is led by Tatum, “who plays a young cop assigned to a precinct in the working class neighborhood where he grew up, with an old secret surfacing and threatening to destroy his life and family.” Morgan, as the character “Vinnie”, will play the friend of Tatum’s young cop.
Morgan’s just coming off the pretty horrendously-received COP OUT, and it’s just so weird now to see him presumably playing a straight, non-comedic role in a cop drama. Is this the first drama Morgan has ever done? How do you think he’ll fare?
SON OF NO ONE is looking at a release sometime in 2011.
