Good enough to be officially selected to screen at Sundance 2011 is a Columbian horror/mystery called ALL YOUR DEAD ONES (TODOS TUS MEURTOS), for which we just procured an international trailer. After giving it a gander, maybe you’ll have a better time sussing what the hell the film is all about than I. One thing’s for certain though…the trailer has a manic energy that’s quite attractive. Check it…
Directed by Carlos Moreno, from a script he co-wrote with Alonso Torres – ALL YOUR DEAD ONES:
Is an eerie and fantastically shot tragicomic satire, an ordinary farmer’s morning routine is interrupted when he makes a grim discovery in the middle of his cornfield, a huge pile of dead bodies. Aghast, he reports the mysterious massacre on what happens to be Election Day. When the small-town mayor and police lieutenant take notice, fearful of unleashing a public scandal, they stall and intimidate the farmer and his family. Meanwhile, the sun beats down, and the rotting corpses remain, refusing to be ignored.
Sounds pretty trippy, no? Oddball foreign horror is always welcomed around here, so needless to say we’ll bring you more ALL YOUR DEAD ONES goodies when we score them.
