AGE OF THE DRAGONS (formerly known as DRAGON FIRE) puts a fantastical spin on Herman Melville’s Moby-Dick. It goes medieval on the classic tale, with Captain Ahab on the hunt for a great white dragon rather than a whale. The official trailer for the film has been revealed; watch it below. Imagine an ancient world where the sky can turn into an unpredictable and ruthless enemy. A world lit by a precious liquid [vitriol] only found in the throat of dangerous predators. In this world of snow and fog, a small band of adventurers and hunters embark on a journey led by a tortured Captain consumed by his obsession with revenge. As they struggle to stay alive across the cold forbidden lands, they will build true friendship, lose loved ones, and fight brutal creatures until truth is unraveled and vengeance is served.
Sounds pretty cool, huh? What’s even better is that Danny Glover stars in the picture as Ahab, alongside Vinnie Jones as his second mate, Stubs. Corey Sevier, Sofia Pernas, Larry Bagby, Kepa Kruse and David Morgan are also among the cast. The picture is directed by Ryan Little (SAINTS AND SOLDIERS) off of a screenplay by McKay Daines.
