Trailer for the supernatural thriller The Soul Collector creeps online

Shout! Studios, alongside Rock Salt Releasing, has unleashed an unsettling and atmospheric trailer for their upcoming supernatural horror film THE SOUL COLLECTOR, which is about

an old man, fated to collect souls for eternity, seeks atonement after trading his daughter's soul.

The film – though replete with arresting and startling images – seems to have more on its mind than just ghosts and hauntings, and looks to also be tackling heavy themes of racial injustice, generational trauma, and coping with loss. Looks interesting to me so far! Let's hope the film can live up to its effective trailer.

Meanwhile, THE SOUL COLLECTOR – directed by Harold Holscher and starring Tshamano Sebe, Inge Beckmann, and Keita Luna – will be available digital and On Demand June 12th.
