Yann Gozlan’s French trap-and-torture flick CAGED (CAPTIFS) is one we haven’t written about in a good six months, back when the film scored a cool international one-sheet. Well now, with the calendar flipped, we finally have a full-length trailer for the sumbitch. Cop a look below!

Somewhere in Eastern Europe. Carole is a young nurse with a humanitarian aid group that has reached the end of its mission. But just then, the young woman and her two colleagues are kidnapped by strangers for mysterious reasons. Held captive, cared for and kept alive in an oppressive and sinister setting, the three prisoners soon discover with horror what their kidnappers truly have in store for them…
CAGED made its U.S. screening debut at Fantastic Fest last October, but has yet to secure an international release slate. Hopefully we hear of one soon, lord knows we need some more French horror in the world. In the last 5-7 years, has there been a country producing better genre material? The Swedes maybe.
