We got a heads up over the weekend about an upcoming indie-horror flick entitled HEART OF DARKNESS, but unlike most ‘supernatural shit in the forest’ themed movies, this one takes it to a whole new level that we actually haven’t seen before.
Directed by DL Payne and Ian Bret, and written by Michelle Karman, HEART OF DARKNESS is about a group of Ghost Hunters who are off in the middle of the forest hunting for ghosts (imagine that), but what they encounter isn’t a ghost at all, but a dude who’s just a wee bit out of his mind. Think BLAIR WITCH meets FRIDAY THE 13TH. Yeah, we’ve seen billions of movies like those two, but when are they ever combined? It was bound to happen sooner or later, and this one looks promising!
