Last month Eric hit you all with the details on PARANORMAL ACTIVITY: TOKYO NIGHT, Japan’s sequel to Oren Peli’s PARANORMAL ACTIVITY. Alright so we’ve got an official US PARANORMAL ACTIVITY sequel hitting us in a couple weeks but that’s no reason to not keep our options open, right?
Presidio Corporation and director Toshikazu Nagae are planning on dropping the film into Japanese theaters sometime in December. And considering that’s only a couple months away I’d say it’s about time for a trailer for PARANORMAL ACTIVITY: TOKYO NIGHT, wouldn’t you agree? Of course you would! PARANORMAL ACTIVITY: TOKYO NIGHT takes place in Japan as a girl who visited San Diego as an exchange student unwittingly brings the evil that haunted Katie Featherston into her family’s house; the focus is on the young woman’s videotape recordings in their house and the shocking realisation of the supernatural force that her family must defeat.
The flick is set to star the duo of Aoi Nakamura and Noriko Aoyama (below). So what do you guys think? PARANORMAL ACTIVITY: TOKYO NIGHT have any potential? Think it’ll stand up to PARANORMAL ACTIVITY and PARANORMAL ACTIVITY 2? Or should we just go ahead and write this one off as a ripoff?
