Trailer pops up for teen genre director Emily Hagins’ My Sucky Teen Romance

Way back in August I told you all about a little indie genre flick heading our way called MY SUCKY TEEN ROMANCE. You guys remember that? The kicker was that it was coming our way from teen director Emily Hagins, who just recently turned 18. Ringing any bells?

Well it’s been a few months but it seems we’ve finally got an update on this little diddy. You see a trailer for the flick has just popped up… but unfortunately that doesn’t mean the film is kicking and rearing to go. Apparently the young director needs some help to finish her film. What kind of help you might ask? What else? Cold hard cash. You can head right over HERE to donate whatever you can to help Hagins reach her $5,000 goal. Then you can scroll below to check out the trailer for MY SUCKY TEEN ROMANCE.

On 17-year-old Kate’s last weekend in town, she and her friends plan to spend it together at SpaceCON– the local science fiction convention they attend every year. At the convention Kate meets Paul, a recently turned teen-vampire (who is also dressed as one). But when Kate tries to make a move on him, he accidentally bites her in the neck. Kate and her friends soon discover that Paul is not the only vampire at the convention, and it is up to them to stop the vampires and find a way to turn Kate back before it is too late.

So what do you guys think? Have any potential? The film stars Tina Rodriguez, Elaine Hurt, Patrick Delgado, Santiago Dietche, Lauren Lee, Lauren Vunderink, Tony Vespe and Devin Bonnee. We’ll keep you updated with any other news regarding MY SUCKY TEEN ROMANCE but if you want to help Hagins out don’t forget to donate.
