A trailer has arrived online for BEHIND THE WALLS, a haunted house movie directed by twin brothers Jon and James Kondelik that puts a twist on a familiar story – a family moves into a haunted location – by telling it from a different perspective. Rather than being about the family discovering the secrets of their new home, this film observes the family through the view of the house as the evil lurking "behind the walls" discovers the family's secrets.
The Kondeliks say this different approach allows the movie to be more dramatic and character driven than the average scarefest.
The trailer provides a glimpse at the results, and regardless of what perspective the story is told from it's clear that the family has a very harrowing experience in their new home. Things get pretty intense and strange.
The official synopsis:
Years it has waited. Now, someone has moved in. Through the eyes of the evil within, we witness a broken family desperately seeking a new beginning, in a new home. But this house lives, watches and wants them to stay – FOREVER.
