Translink selects Seth Rogen as the new voice of public transit in Vancouver

I can hear it now, "Hey everybody, if you see something, say something. Eeehawhuehawhawhaw!"

In a move to replace besmirched actor Morgan Freeman as the new voice of public transit in Vancouver, after a series of sexual harassment allegations were made against the LEAN ON ME actor, Translink has announced that Vancouver native and Hollywood funny man Seth Rogen will voice some announcements at SkyTrain stations and on some bus routes.

At the time when Freeman's participation was called into question, Stephanie Ip, a reporter with the Vancouver Sun, then suggested that Rogen be offered the gig.

Rogen's name was then officially tossed into the ring, alongside other hopefuls the likes of Nardwuar the Human Serviette, Michael Bublé, Tamara Taggart, Mission-born songstress Carly Rae Jepsen, and of course, Ryan Reynolds. Upon hearing that he'd been quasi-nominated for the part, Rogen offered to record the announcements for free, according to The Georgia Straight, Vancouver's premiere guide for events, dining, and all around entertainment in Vancouver, BC, Canada.

Once it was cool for Rogen to let the cat out of the dime bag, the FREAKS AND GEEKS alum released the following video via his personal Twitter account:

The announcements featuring Rogen's laid back vocals are scheduled to go live in the coming weeks, Eeehawhuehawhawhaw!
