Earlier this month we showed you the trailer for TRANSSIBERIAN, the newest thriller from Brad Anderson. Well with release being only a month away,
here’s a look at the newest poster for the flick (above).
It’s simple… really simple, but as I’ve stated before, I’m a big fan of simple one-sheets. Not entirely excited about this one though, seeing how I’m still unsure exactly where they’re going with the flick. Either way the plot sounds fun and it’s got a stacked cast ready to throw us all for a loop.
The flick’s synopsis reads: An American couple, Roy and Jessie, decide to take the long way home from their recent sojourn in Asia on the legendary Trans-siberian Express train from Beijing to Moscow. On their way, they meet another couple from the West, Carlos and Abby, with whom they quickly form a familiar bond that often unites fellow travelers away from home. When Roy accidentally gets separated from the group at a stopover, Jessie begins to realize that their compatriots aren’t exactly who or what they seem to be. The real danger begins to surface as a deceitful Russian detective and locals terrorize Jessie in this unforgettable journey.
As stated, it comes from director Brad Anderson with the cast including Woody Harrelson, Emily Mortimer (below), Ben Kingsley Eduardo Noriega, and Kate Mara. I love Emily Mortimer. I don’t even know why, but I dig her in almost everything she does. I’m definitely stoked to see what she can do in a mind boggling thriller.
TRANSSIBERIAN opens July 18… unfortunately that means it’s going head to head against a certain caped superhero man who looks like a bat or something.
