Trek 11 goes Imax

JoBloJoBlo

STAR TREK When the Enterprise boldly goes where it’s gone many times before in the J.J. Abrams directed STAR TREK on May 8th of next year, you’ll be able to see the adventures of young Kirk, Spock and the rest of the crew in glorious IMAX. That’s right, the film will be opening simultaneously in regular theaters and the ridiculously amazing high definition of IMAX. In the film, young Kirk as portrayed by Chris Pine is at Starfleet Academy banging alien hotties and generally being a lazy douche when he pisses off young Spock (Zachary Quinto), gets stuck on Hoth, meets old Spock (Leonard Nimoy) and goes at it with a squid monster. Then the USS Kelvin blows up. Or something. The point is the film’s gonna be all kinds of awesome on IMAX.
