Empire scored the exclusive first trailer for Christopher Smith’s TRIANGLE, and you can check it out right HERE. Unfortunately it doesn’t look very exciting; I think we’ll still be waiting for the definitive Bermuda Triangle flick. Smith’s credits include CREEP – which I’ve never seen – and SEVERANCE, which I have seen and found to be meh.
That said, I do like me some Melissa George, and she might be reason enough to give this movie a chance. TRIANGLE also stars Rachael Carpani, Emma Lung, Liam Hemsworth, and Michael Dorman. It opens on October 16th in the U.K.; chances are it will hit DVD in the States in the winter. (Of course, we’ll let you know if it’s getting a theatrical release.)
When Jess sets sail on a yacht with a group of friends, she cannot shake the feeling that there is something wrong. Her suspicions are realized when the yacht hits a storm and the group is forced to board a passing ocean liner to get to safety, a ship Jess is convinced she’s been on before. The ship appears deserted, the clock on board has stopped, but they are not alone… Someone is intent on hunting them down, one by one. And Jess unknowingly holds the key to end the terror.
