Tribeca Film Festival entry The Bleeding House gets theatrical and VOD dates

Last month we let you know that a few choice Tribeca Film Festival entries were getting theatrical and Video OnDemand releases, among them three genre titles: THE BLEEDING HOUSE, DON’T GO IN THE WOODS and GRAVE ENCOUNTERS. Via a press release, we now learn when we’ll be able to see at least one of them.

THE BLEEDING HOUSE will have a limited theatrical release beginning on MAY 13th. If it’s not coming to your town, however, there’s still good news: From APRIL 20 through JUNE 23, it will be available in more than 40 million homes via cable, telco and satellite systems. Additionally, the Tribeca Film platform will be available on the web via digital VOD services. Viewers will be able to access Tribeca Film titles via the “Tribeca Film” category of video-on-demand menus, via pay-per-view offerings and via other branded destinations online.

Here’s the synopsis for THE BLEEDING HOUSE:
Meet the Smiths—a family full of secrets who keep to themselves on a back road outside a small Midwestern town. In this visceral, tightly wound horror/thriller, their lives are shaken when a sweet-talking Texan arrives on their doorstep on a mission for retribution. Will he succeed in his goal to bleed them of their sins, or will the family’s haunted past prove to be even more deadly than he bargained for?

The Philip Gelatt film is also, of course, playing the Tribeca Film Festival later next month. If you’re interested and going to be in NYC, head over HERE for the dates.
