A year after it drove the attending fanboys to a frenzy at Comic Con 2008, the first teaser clip for the TRON sequel has come online… and for the love of Cindy Morgan, is it sweet!
The slick sequence for the long-awaited follow-up (dubbed TRON LEGACY) shows the upgraded lightcycles, as well as Jeff Bridges’ “missing” virtuoso programmer Flynn, who may now have a different agenda than just making cool games and trying to escape the grid. Also below are some snaps from this year’s San Diego reveal (the result of the earlier TRON viral material ) of the new lightcycle models, Flynn’s arcade, and the non-CGI stars: the immortally cool Jeff Bridges, superfox Olivia Wilde, and Garrett Hedlund, who plays Flynn’s kid in the sequel.
