A couple weeks ago we let you know Nick Searcy would be joining the cast of THE METAMORPHOSIS, David Yohe’s indie adaptation of Franz Kafka’s nightmarish novel. Thankfully, Searcy will not be alone…
Variety has it that “True Blood” star Patricia Bethune (seen right) is the latest to join the cast of THE METAMORPHOSIS. She also joins Matt Angel in the indie-thriller.
Story focuses on a 17-year-old who wakes up one morning to an inexplicable illness that transforms him into the unimaginable — a hideous, human-sized cockroach. His parents come home to discover him afraid and hiding from his new form and are now faced with the decision of accepting a monster in their suburban home or exterminating their own son.
Bethune has quite the TV resume. She’s appeared in everything from “Buffy” and “90210”, to recurring roles on “Grey’s Anatomy” and “Mad Men.” She was also in SPECIES III and THE LOST WORLD: JURASSIC PARK, among other varied projects.
