Tucker talks another Friday

JoBloJoBlo

Somehow, Chris Tucker fell ass first into a ridiculously lucrative franchise when he signed on to star opposite Jackie Chan in RUSH HOUR. Ever since then, he’s been set for life. And now, with the RH3 publicity stuff all done with, I guess he feels like he might need a little pocket change to buy himself a lime green Porsche with a toilet in it or something, so he’s toying with the idea of making another FRIDAY flick.

“I would love to, but I don’t know if I’ll be able to do it… But come with a great script and I’ll consider it. We’ll see… The first ‘Friday’ took only 20 days to film and $2 million to shoot… It was so special to me.”

I dunno, I’ve only seen FRIDAY when I’ve been drunk, but I enjoyed it. I kinda think that Tucker might have outgrown the role though, especially when he narrowly missed an Oscar for his performance in THE FIFTH ELEMENT. Still though, I guess we’ll see.
