TV cancellations round-up: Agent Carter, The Muppets, Castle & more

It seems yesterday was the start of spring cleaning for ABC, CBS, FOX and The CW. The broadcasters cancelled a total of 12 series, and there will likely be more cancellations in the next few days as we get closer to next week’s fall presentations.

We'll start with ABC, who has cancelled Marvel's Agent Carter after two seasons. The network also said goodbye to Castle, Nashville and Galavant, and freshman series The Muppets and The Family. In addition to the cancellations, ABC has also announced that they won't be moving forward with the planned Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. spinoff Marvel's Most Wanted.

CBS pulled the plug on its last remaining CSI series, CSI: Cyber, while The CW (the new home of Supergirl) has axed Containment after just one season.

Yesterday was particularly rough for FOX's rookie comedies: The Grinder, Grandfathered, Bordertown and Cooper Barrett’s Guide to Surviving Life have all been canned after just a single season. Which cancelled series are you going to miss the most?
