Two of the more interesting looking sci-fi pics to hit theaters this year are Wally Pfister's TRANSCENDENCE and Jonathan Glazer's UNDER THE SKIN. Today, we have a look at new posters for each respective film, which represent each film fittingly, giving a good tease to their sci-fi elements. TRANSCENDENCE, starring Johnny Depp, Paul Bettany, Kate Mara, Morgan Freeman, Cillian Murphy, and Rebecca Hall is the first film from cinematographer-turned- director Wally Pfister and thus far looks like an intriguing tale of sci-tech with a mix of "ghost in the machine."

Here's the poster:

TRANSCENDENCE uploads to theaters on April 18, 2014.

UNDER THE SKIN is more of a sci-fi/horror hybrid, with Scarlett Johansson starring as an "alien seductress" who explores the human world with some less than "we come in peace" motives. The imagery we've seen in the trailers thus far has been insane, piquing curiosity of the film's darker elements. The new poster puts Scarlett into the stars and has a distinct old-school 80's vibe to it.
