Two more join Kevin Williamson’s series about a cult of serial killers

Earlier this month we told you about a series heading our way courtesy of Fox and genre scribe Kevin Williamson. You guys remember that? It was about a serial killer who builds himself up a cult of serial killers. Now we’re ringing some bells, right?

Last we heard James Purefoy would be starring in the thing as our killer with none other than Kevin Bacon chasing him down as a retired FBI profiler. Now that spells all kinds of fun right there! But thanks to Deadline Hollywood we’ve got news on two more names joining the project: Shawn Ashmore and Valorie Curry. Ashmore (right) will play a junior FBI agent who is part of the task force assisting Bacon’s character in the search for Purefoy’s serial killer. Curry (below) will play a young nanny who cares for the killer’s son.

The project, from Warner Bros TV, is described as an edge-of-the-seat thriller about Joe Carroll (Purefoy) a diabolical serial killer who uses technology to create a cult of serial killers, and retired FBI profiler Ryan Hardy (Bacon) who finds himself in the middle of it.

It’s also been confirmed that Marcos Siega will be directing the pilot of the untitled series. Unfortunately there’s no telling when things will get rolling on this shite but as always as soon as we hear more we’ll pass whatever comes our way right along to all of you.
