Looks like this fine Friday has been dedicated to TV genre news, a rarity indeed. First was Showtime’s “Dexter”, then ABC’s “The River,” followed by FX’s “American Horror Story” and now…now it’s all about those kooky vampires over on HBO!
Word from Deadline is two more actors have been added to the cast of “True Blood”, effective at the beginning of season five. Both will get 5-6 episode arcs. Their names? Kelly Overton (below) and Louis Herthum (above). And while you may not be familiar with their names, I’m willing to bet you’ve seen their faces!
Overton (THE RING 2), will play a dirty, beautiful werewolf named Rikki who demands to know what’s become of the pack leader.
Herthum (THE LAST EXORCISM), will play a particularly large Marine-type werewolf who refuses to bow down before the new pack leader.
“True Blood” season five will likely hit around next summer.
