Kevin Smith has been auctioning off posters for his horror effort RED STATE like a madman recently; just the other day he shuttled off two more of the one-sheets to the highest bidders: the sites pussyeatingclub (no joke, and NSFW too) and Xcellentcreations – you can see them below.
First we’re introduced to Ralph Garman as “Caleb”. No clue how Caleb fits into the flick, but he looks like a bible-thumper, which equals trouble in the world of RED STATE. Then you’ve got three shlubs billed as “The Sons”; I don’t recognize two of them, but the guy on the right is Kyle Gallner from the NIGHTMARE ON ELM STREET remake. I really dislike this actor for some reason, but shit, he’s getting a ton of work lately, so godbless.
RED STATE is set to play at the Sundance Film Festival next month, after which it’ll attempt to find a distributor. My gut tells me that Smith will find a home with his old pals the Weinsteins, but I guess we’ll have to wait and see.
