One of the more interesting sounding horror flicks coming out this year is AN AMERICAN HAUNTING. Not only does it have a heavy cast (how’s Donald Sutherland and Sissy Spacek grab you?), but also lays claim to the based on true events tag. So what’s this dance swingin’ to? Read on.
An American Haunting tells the story of a spirit which attacked the wealthy and highly respected Bell family for four years, eventually causing the death of one of its family members.
All well and good. Unfortunately the first trailer left me a bit cold. I’m not sure why, but it simply didn’t engage me. Now thanks to the The Hollywood News we’ve got a chance to check out the UK version of the trailer, and I’m getting more excited. Hell, the last line alone is probably enough to get me into the theater.
