Uncork’d Entertainment picks up JoBlo-produced horror pic The Shelter

If you're a frequent visitor to JoBlo.com or our sister site Arrow in the Head, than you know that we're all pretty excited about THE SHELTER. Written and directed by AITH's John Fallon, the horror flick is our first official full-length film production, and Uncork'd Entertainment has just acquired the U.S. and Canadian rights to the movie, which will be getting a theatrical and digital release sometime this fall. Huzzah!

THE SHELTER stars Michael Pare (EDDIE AND THE CRUISERS, THE VIRGIN SUICIDES) as Thomas Jacobs, a widower and homeless man who finds shelter one night when he falls upon a vast two story house with the lights on and an inviting open front door. He strolls in and makes himself at home, but what at first seems like a lucky break turns out to be a cruel twist of fate when he realizes that the house won’t let him leave.

The film received very positive reactions from audience members and critics at the 2015 London FrightFest, and if you're a horror fan you'll definitely want to check THE SHELTER out once it's released later this year.
