Variety reports that Shane Brolly (Kraven the vampire) and Michael Sheen (Lucian the werewolf) have joined Kate Beckinsale, Scott Speedman, Bill Nighy and British stage vetern Sir Derek Jacobi for the sequel about the waging war between werewolves and vampires.
Although visually exciting, there wasn’t much that I took away from UNDERWORLD, and I wouldn’t mind having those 2 hours back- but of course, I have yet to check out the directors cut DVD, so it could be awesome now. Either way, I’ll be in line to see this flick, as Beckinsale is hot, and I dig the premise of the series.
Director Len Wiseman and screenwriter Danny McBride are also back, shooting for a theatrical release date November 23, 2005.
