Right now the Tribeca Film Festival is the hottest ticket in the city I live in, New York. And one of the hottest tickets of its impressive horror lineup is UNEARTHED, from Matthew Leutwyler ( DEAD AND BREAKFAST).
Here’s a synopsis, from the flick’s Myspace page: Deep in the isolated deserts of New Mexico, a reclusive archaeologist hunts for the truth behind the disappearance of an ancient tribe. Years of research finally uncover the answer… and once again unleash its terror. A small town sheriff, only days from being fired, now finds herself trying to save the lives of the locals that want her gone.
