Unknown in October

Here’s some bizarreness for you: Australian film company Strongman Productions announced this week, in conjunction with Pro Championship Wrestling Entertainment (PCWe), that their upcoming film FROM PARTS UNKNOWN will begin filming October 6th in Melbourne, Victoria over a three month period. And no, that’s not the bizarre part.

What’s bizarre (besides the picture of the chick looking like she’s pooing on the film’s teaser poster) is the actual description of the movie . Check it: From Parts Unknown is described as a romantic-comedy/science-fiction/horror
story about video games, professional wrestling, top-secret nano-technology gone wrong, and
the end of the world.

Wow. I’m speechless. It either sounds like the dumbest idea for a movie ever… or the most epic motion picture in film history! The flick is set to star some of the top wrestling talent in the Australia, including the likes of Chris Knight, Carlo Cannon, Mr Big,
Trent Brash, Matt Silva and many more.

So basically, if wrestling and wrestlers are your thing, this may be the coolest movie imaginable. While I could give a flying f*ck about the ‘sport’, I can see it for it’s entertaining values, and I respect it… I just don’t dig on it. Stick around for more on FROM PARTS UNKNOWN, as you know we’ll be sticking to this project like white on rice!
